The Anacletian Brothers have three spiritual expressions:
First Order is our male expression, and is comprised of brothers, deacons, priests and bishops who take perpetual vows and participate in the full life of the Society. The ministries the first order members engage in are authorized by the Society’s General Chapter, and supervised by the Father General & Vicar General.
Second Order is our female expression, and is comprised of sisters, and women who have been raised to the diaconate, priesthood and episcopate. These women, like their male conterparts take perpetual vows and participate in the full life of the Society. The ministries the second order members engage in are authorized by the Society’s General Chapter, and supervised by the Mother General & Vicar General.
Third Order is an expression for laity and clergy regardless of their status or other religious affiliations. Third order Anacletians make a promise to pray the office daily, support the work of the order, and are allowed to participate in General Chapter, retreats, and other Society events.
